Poison

This activity asked us to identify if 6 different compounds were infact "poisons", and if so, we then had to identify if it was Cyanide, Asprin, sugar, household cleaning products, Iodine, or a heavy metal. Using the different indicators for each type of poisoning we tested each compound, and identified what each compound was. Being able to differentiate which posion was used to kill a victim could have a large impact on the case, from identifying a suspect to ruling out causes of death.

  3. I was thinking about that, but I felt like people who don't go to IBECH would get as much from that data.
